Grace Doll Blog Tour Schedule

I'm excited to share my new YA novel, Grace Doll.

BLURB:

Grace Doll had everything: Fame. Fortune. Beauty. Everything except her freedom. So when a powerful movie producer forces an experimental treatment on Grace--one that's purported to make beauty immortal--she stages her own death to escape him. With the help of trusted friends, Grace slips into hiding. She's forever flawless. Forever young, and forever pursued by her past.

But when a stranger arrives on her doorstep, holding the key to a life she thought she'd left behind, Grace must decide between the safety she's known...and embracing the role she was born to play.

I'm giving away this Red Carpet Swag: A signed copy of Grace Doll, sun glasses, an 'Oscar", a glittering star photo holder along with a Grace Doll card and bookmark.

Well... The idea of immortality is somehow appealing on a first thought, but then again.. I would have to watch how all my family and friends are dying in front of me, and I'd still be there. Alive. And alone. Kinda scary if you ask me.

Anita: Exactly. Add to that the threat of a psycho stalking you and life would get pretty intense. :)

I've thought about what it would mean to be immortal - but I wouldn't want that life for myself. I don't want to see my own children grow old and die and leave me. So I would never choose immortality, even if it meant fame and fortune. Thank you so much for the giveaway. I can't wait to read Grace Doll.

I don't think I would choose immortality. Simply because life as it is, I find most charming when you know that at some point ends.
Thank you for the giveaway, I really want to read your book!

Yes I would. I'd take the risks. Survival of the fittest.

No, I wouldn't because...a few years from now, I plan to get married with my boyfriend. If I have to live life without him, I'd rather not exist.

Sue said...

It´s hard to decide, because when i would life forever i would miss my friends and family, I guess when the years would go by i would have nothing to do, so no, I wouldnt choose immortality, not when i would be alone.

Gayle said...

Nope, wouldn't do it! :) Even though there might be unpleasant aspects to growing old, I wouldn't give that up.

Kasumi said...

Only if I have youth and health... and somebody to be with. Somebody who wasn't insane, of course ;p

PS: I hope it's an international giveaway...

I would definitely do it.

Only if my loved ones could be immortal as well. I couldn't watch my husband age without me.

I think in the beginning it would be awesome. But later then everyone you know would die, it would be boring and lonely life. So, I don't think I would choose immortality.

Jaime Lester said...

Nope. I really don't think I would, even if I were actually faced with it and it were possible. I don't think it would be as great of a ride as it is made out to be in lot of books. I just don't think I could do it.

I am not sure, to be honest. I think it would be tough in the long run. There is a reason why life has a cycle, and to mess with that natural rhythm would make for a difficult existence.

I think I'd really choose immortality, basically because I'd love to see how people look back to this time in the future...

I'm weird, I know >.<

I think, if I had someone special to spend it with, then I so would! But if not, then maybe not.

Tifferz said...

Sure, I would if I could have my family enjoy it as well.
What would you choose?

nrlymrtl said...

I would need to read the fine print first: Will I continue to age and like in arthritic pain for immortality? What all can kill me like knives in the eyes and such? Will I be able to set fashion trends or will my wardrobe be at the mercy of the young and reckless?

Benita said...

Immortality, but keep on aging or immortality and staying young. I wouldn't want the first, but the second intrigues me-if I could remain 25.

No immortality for me. I wouldn't be able to handle losing the people I cared for. Plus I think the little things in life wouldn't mean quite as much if you had eternity to experience them.

I think immortality would be awesome! I wouldn't have to worry about the diseases and cancers of this world and could live out a meaningful life helping others.

Sound interesting. I know a little about being stalked but the other, well, need to read this to see.

I would choose immortality if I could. I see a lot of negatives, but still ...I would just definitely choose immortality. Especially under the forever young or stay the age you are situation. Thank you :]

Joy said...

Yes, I would love to see what happens to the world in the future, so I would love to live forever.

I think the only way I would choose immortality would be if I knew I wasn't going to be alone for all that time. If I could stay young there's so many things I would be able to do! I would love to see the future and how things change over time, but I wouldn't want to do it alone : )

Sayomay said...

Hmm it def would be tempting! I honestly dont know if i would!

Lisa Richards/alterlisa said...

In a heartbeat! I'd then be assured of getting all the books in my TBR pile completed.

I would only choose it if someone I cared for deply had it too. Like my best friend or m y sister.

CrimsonInk said...

I think it would be extremely lonely to become immortal, but if my husband and kids were, then I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Sam Cooper said...

Only if my partner and kids were immortal as wll!

Stephanie said...

I would NOT choose immortality because I think there needs to be an end. Life wouldn't be as exciting either.

yep, so long as I can be healthy too - regnod9at)yahoo(d0t)com

I don't know possibily, hard to decided !

laurafergs said...

No I don't think I would unless everyone else I loved was immortal with me? Otherwise I'd have to watch them all die...knowing I never would. It'd be lonely I think.

I think immortality have advantage and disadvantage. Some people wanted to have it but some will afraid of it. I can't decide if I can accept this kind of living until I came to this situation.
